Hunter Valley

Like the state it's in, New South Wales, Hunter Valley is hot and the traditional grapes are Shiraz& Semillon. But Chardonnay has become a popular and very produced variety. The hot weather gets the grapes super ripe, which in turn makes most of the wines big and rich.
